Spent most of the night trying to get the operating system upgraded on the computer, as the issues with it seemed that they would only go away with reinstall, and I figured I might as well upgrade while I am at it, so I don't keep messing up 98, since it has only been a few months since the last screwup with it.
5 attempts later, it installs. Got my new keyboard running, new mouse won't work, now I see why it was on clearance, cause its a piece of sh*t. I can't even get working drivers for it online, because the company is stupid obviously.
So next time I am near a target, I will have to go return it, likely on Saturday when I have to work.
And on a more amusing note, as of today my longest running Cam PC so far turns 3. And of course I hear amusing rumors that someone wants to kill her at ICC. I say bring it, I already declared things with the lead venue ST when clearing the retainers about how my PC will NOT leave her body in the city, I wish anyone luck in killing her, its damn hard, and she can just get a new ghoul and a new identity to hide in, if needed.
Or of course, I will make a new PC. I was jokingly suggesting a Toreador costume designer so I can make use of the lovely wardrobe I already have, except I happen to hate playing Toreador. Or I could always play my trademark silly concept for a bit, like the slut PC I haven't played in awhile (and can make use of the vinyl and short dresses again!). Of course, if anyone wants to input on new PC ideas, feel free, I tend to run short on them, and have done so for about 3 years now :)
