Funny how I can go to Gamestop intending on getting one game and end up with a completely different one. I'm weird like that I guess.

Anyway, almost done with Chrono Trigger DS (main delay is my DS being wonky and only wanting to work two days out of the week). So since I heard from some others on my flist that Dragon Quest V was out, went to get that. Well, I was looking to see if it was in stock and see something else on the shelves that was far more interesting.

Seems Atlus was smart and decided to remake the first two Ys games. I love that series so much and only two of the games made it to the US (though the anime covering the first two also made it to the US). Complete remake with pretty graphics and it even comes with a soundtrack and was $5 less than DQV.

Yeah, I bought that instead, I'll wait on DQV, not like I won't be able to get that one later.

If anyone is interested, I am ripping the soundtrack that came with it into mp3 format and can upload the whole thing.. It's gorgeous from what I've heard already, but then the Ys series has some of the best music ever really (Falcom always has good soundtracks). I can also include some mp3s I have from Ys 3 and Ark of Naphistim.

And in other news, ebay really does have everything. I was doing research to fix my stupid laptop keyboard since I was getting estimates on it being fixed and it was going to run upwards of $250 (about $65 for the part, $180 for labor)or more and possibly leave me without a computer for far longer than I'd like. Happened to find a site online that showed how I could take a key I don't use much and and use that to fix my broken e key, drawback is that I could potentially screw up two keys, but the idea is to get the parts from another key. Then found another that suggested ebay to purchase single keys. So I ordered a new e key, it cost a whole $7 rather than $200. Will have to wait about a week, but that's way better than having to take my computer in and pay a good $250 to get it fixed and be without it for a time. I think most of my flist knows I'd go nuts without a computer for a day, much less a week or more.

So if anyone else on my flist who has a laptop has issues with broken keys, do research on google before taking it in. It seems that despite what computer techs want to tell you, individual keys can be bought and can be replaced on laptops, and they can be bought on ebay of course.
