ladynadiad | Much happiness (for once)

Not a griping about random crap not working post for once, as technology is seeming to like me more this month, and people seem to communicate more this month so far.

A few days ago I got an e-mail from the regional audit guy about my audit (which has been sitting at regional level since July) basically saying what was up with it and why it was still delayed. My IRC Op prestige is a pain in the arse to verify. I knew this quite well. I know it can be verified, it just will be a long time in coming, and I am not feeling patient anymore.

So I respond to the audits guy saying, pretend the freaking op prestige doesn't exist. I will put it back on when the verification exists, I know its being worked on, I badgered the guy who has it enough about it, but he's working on getting it onto the website for all us ops and former ops. I send new copy of prestige log (even though

brian_peterson sent him one last week, I saw him do it too.

Today, a few minutes before I have to run off for work, I see a nice little e-mail in my box with the subject of "Offer of MC 9 for Becky Kozak" from the audits guy. This of course strikes me as curious, so I open it up and see the lovely text saying all the stuff about how this MC is a privilege and talks about my dedication and service to the Camarilla and has a prestige log attached. I guess this means I am responsible and such (like I didn't figure that out when I got the lovely priviledge of playing a Tremere Lord back in late May last year)

So I now have the lovely priviledge of playing an elder PC in Vampire. Now I just gotta finish up my Malk. I know, its a scary thought for someone like me to play another Malk (especially anyone who remembers my last Malk, and not many on my friends list saw me play it!). This time I am not doing a "cute" cthulu hugging type (and I still wonder why people could think that someone who hugs a cthulhu doll is cute! She was scary in her own way, it just wasn't as obvious, the PC was high approval for a reason, sheesh). If anyone really wants to hear the concept, I will happily go into it, warning, it is a lengthy explanation, as I cannot get a concept into a sentence still, I think I got this one down to maybe a few paragraphs, which includes explanation of how her derangement works.

I also gotta get the last bits of costuming for this PC. Need a pretty blouse to go with my grey velvet skirt and a pair of reading glasses for me to pop the lenses out of. The glasses I can pick up at work for two bucks at least, the blouse will be harder.

And the other bit of good news is that I finally solved the login issues with my webpage, so that should be up and running and making me some cash by the end of the week, I hope! I did have some fun already playing around with my script to see how stuffs work. Once I figure out how to make the webpage less pink, I might just show it off.

By the way, anyone know of a good place to find clip art where they won't bitch if its on a site that is for making money? I am wanting to find some cute rainbow graphics, as my site is called The End of the Rainbow, also looking for some cute clip art for the Cam Costuming site that is in progress, anything having to do with sewing, or costuming in general would be great! I just need free stuff for the Cam Costuming site though, as I am not gonna be making money from that.
