A few random RP memes

Ganked from like half my flist it seems:

List your characters. Then pick a trait from each one that the two of you share and explain it. If you don't share a trait with any of them, put N/A.

[Bad username or site: blackenedchaos title=Yuber @ livejournal.com] - The somewhat formal way of speaking and strangely enough, his views on humans. I'm just not as extreme as he is obviously. Actually, overall, Yuber is the muse I have the most in common with when you look deeper into his character.

[Bad username or site: ofbluelightning title=Flik @ livejournal.com] - Took some thinking really, but his tendency to be protective of those close to him.

[Bad username or site: wishesofdestiny title=Folken @ livejournal.com] - The fact that he cares more about the ends than the means when doing something.

[Bad username or site: oracleofdeath title=Erim @ livejournal.com] - Took some thought here, because she's the one I have the least in common with. I would think the fact that my opinion can indeed be swayed with a strong argument.

And another:

Ask me about any character I've played, and I'll let you know what drew me to them in the first place, what I like most about them, least about them, my favorite RP memory (if I can remember it!) and if I'm likely to ever write them again.

Complete muse list is here

And ganked from [livejournal.com profile] daathic

List any characters that you have considered roleplaying, but never have. Explain why you like the character, then explain what it is that keeps you from playing them, be it a lack of canon knowledge, lack of confidence, or too many people playing that character!

From Pretear:

Fenrir - Lack of canon confidence, overpowered muse, lack of cast
Put simply, Fenrir makes Yuber look like a puppy. Thankfully, the worst of her powers would be cut out if I brought her to most games. Only problem? She wouldn't be playable without those powers. And if she had them, there is the small issue of no cast to deal with her. Yeah, she'll stay homeless forever.

From Ys:

Adol Christin - Lack of canon knowledge
Adol would fit so well into Luceti too, that is the saddest thing. But I'd want to take him from after the sixth game and the fourth and fifth were never translated so I have no way of getting what happened during those.

From King's Quest VI:

Prince Alexander - lack of canon confidence, lack of confidence in the muse
Honestly, he's probably one of the few muses I have that is actually beyond my range of intelligence. All those damn obscure as hell puzzles he had to figure out, yeah. Also, I never beat the third game, so I'm missing some canon for him. Otherwise, he'd fit awesomely into Luceti and oddly a lot of the crap that happens wouldn't surprise him.

From Ace Attorney:

Franziska von Karma - lack of confidence in muse, too many people playing
I prefer smallish fandoms for a reason. I hate playing from popular ones because it makes me nervous that every tag I write is being looked at by tons of people and I'm going to get crit if I'm even slightly off, and that will make the muse die fast.

Hmm, that was actually shorter than I thought it would be. I'm probably forgetting someone though and will remember it like a week from now or something!

What drew me in the first place - Oddly, she's always been one I liked from that game which is really funny because she's not the usual type of character I like. But the reason why I even made a journal for her was that I was going to app her to a game to give a Darc a castmate, but sadly the Darc dropped before I finished my app so I never apped.

What I like most about her - Her positive attitude. It didn't matter what shit the party got into, she would be encouraging them that they could do it. She could be in a dungeon in Orcoth and she'd be trying to make the Orcon happy. Truly, she has the most positive outlook on life possible and you wouldn't even know that she had a pretty shitty past of being hunted down by people for her Great Spirit Stone.

What I like least about her - The fact that she cared so little about her own life if it meant someone would get hurt. That was just so annoying at times and got her into no end of trouble. Also the fact that she basically is a trouble magnet and can't fight.

No RP memory since I haven't actually played her yet.

Would I write her again - I've actually debated on taking her to Luceti instead, especially now that I have character slots open. It would be kind of funny because she is the complete opposite of the character I'm most known for there, but yet she fits my normal type of character to play. Just shows how broad my character type is! Still, it could be a bit troublesome, except for the fact that my villain has specific orders not to attack people like her.

For the second meme, tell me about Folken!

What drew me in the first place - It was actually seeing people playing from Escaflowne again that drew out this muse. He's very much a type I'd normally play, among my favorites in his canon, quite intelligent and a total emotional derp otherwise.

What I like best about him - He may be one of the antagonists and Zaibach may be a really sucky place and all, but deep down, Folken's a good man who just wants the best for his world and especially the people he cares about.

What I like least about him - He's rather cold even at the timeframe I chose for him. Most of my characters are far more likely to show their feelings, he's very much the type to wear a bland expression and keep his feelings to himself.

Favorite RP memory - Don't have much yet, but I love his threads with Dilandau because it is a fun game of trying to make it seem like Folken is still on Dilandau's side when he isn't.

Will I write him again - Not planning on dropping him any time soon, that's for sure. I may have dropped a good number this month, but that was me getting rid of the ones I was having serious trouble with. I'm not having any trouble with Folken.
